About the Role

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:
- Conduct industry research and analysis to identify market trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.
- Work closely with senior management to define and refine the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
- Develop strategic plans and roadmaps to achieve long-term business objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships, and acquisitions.

2. Business Analysis and Evaluation:
- Analyze internal and external data to assess the organization's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis).
- Conduct financial analysis, including revenue forecasting, cost analysis, and profitability assessment.
- Evaluate business performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Perform risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.

3. Competitive Intelligence:
- Monitor and analyze competitors' strategies, products, and market positioning.
- Identify emerging industry trends and disruptive forces.
- Conduct benchmarking and comparative analysis to assess the organization's competitive advantage.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the organization's competitive position.

4. Strategic Initiatives and Projects:
- Lead or support strategic initiatives, such as market entry, product launches, and business expansion.
- Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and project plans for strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute strategic projects and monitor progress.
- Ensure alignment and coordination across different departments and stakeholders.

5. Performance Measurement and Reporting:
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure progress towards strategic goals.
- Establish reporting frameworks and dashboards to track and communicate performance.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders on strategic initiatives and outcomes.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.

6. Change Management and Communication:
- Support change management efforts related to strategic initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption.
- Develop communication plans to effectively convey strategic objectives and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the communication team to create messaging, presentations, and materials for strategic communications.

7. Thought Leadership and Innovation:
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in strategy management.
- Identify innovative approaches and opportunities for the organization's growth and competitive advantage.
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, white papers, and presentations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, strategy, finance, or a related field.

- Proven experience in a strategy-focused role, such as strategy consulting or corporate strategy.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent strategic thinking and business acumen.

- Proficiency in financial analysis and modelling.

- Strong project management and organizational skills.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at various levels.
